Abstract: This article analyzes the small farms in agricultural production in the region. Marked major achievements in the development of industries.

Value of the fundamental component of the agricultural sector - agriculture in economic activity due to share the Volgograd region occupied in agricultural products in the gross domestic product of the region, involved production potential, the number of employed working-age population and, of course, the size of land used for agricultural production. In the structure of agricultural production small forms of management play an important role in the preservation and development of rural areas . Of course, this sector of the economy less efficient production of large organizations , however, it is an objective reality in the development of agriculture. Their increasing role in the agricultural sector is confirmed : the growth and stabilization of their numbers and sizes; growing proportion of small farms in the agricultural sector in agricultural production ; formed specialization of small farms .
KFH share in the total production of all farms in 2011 put . 26.9% crops, 30% - for sunflower, 73.9 % - for melons.
Alternative replacement parts collapsing agricultural organizations may be small forms of management that have economic stability. Private households are a good basis for the further development of farming . At the initiative of the citizens in a number of areas and rural ( township ) administrations were established and updated combined associations (unions) (peasant) , private farms , gardeners and farmers . Moreover, in rural areas in recent years, evolving business storage , reprocessing and marketing of agricultural products, production builder materials , Folk Crafts , consumer services , harvesting and processing of wild fruits and berries , that rural tourism and trade . For progressive development ment of small farms can be represented lay down several directions:
and economic (business planning , reduction of production costs , focus on effective demand , effective management );
and social (strengthening labor discipline , training and skills development , improvement of conditions of work and rest , regular payments and higher wages ¬ tion )
Smallscale production not only in our country has found its economic niche . Experience of the agricultural production in developed countries abroad for a long time confirms that despite the significant advantages of a large commodity production , small and medium sized manufacturing continues to exist and develop actively. It is the coexistence in conditions of industrial cooperation and agroindustrial integration , either as separate manufacturing cells , or are affiliated with large enterprises and in this case, losing their independence , but the remaining part of the whole integrated agricultural education.
To enhance the stability of production , small forms of management should improve the specialization and diversification to develop their activities. Introduce new technologies in agricultural production , to carry out cooperation in the use of technology, to perform the work under the order and concluded contracts , seize opportunities credit cooperatives , as well as to co-operation and integration of farms with large producers for the production, processing , storage and marketing of agricultural products.
Volgograd Region Administration attaches great importance to increase employment and income growth of the rural population through the development of small-scale production as the main guarantor of the Food ¬ security interventions and employment area.
During the survey identified factors that directly influence the development of small farms in the Volgograd region , including : not enough information and consulting formed the basis for the development of individual farms and smallholdings , owners of farms and family farms, rural entrepreneurs face an acute shortage of financial and credit resources, there is practically no sales system that can directly affect not only the personal material interest , but also on the gross production.
Villagers have long learned that produced on private farms agricultural products are a reliable source of income, are constantly increasing the number of animals , and at the same time the production of meat , milk for sale.

On the basis of the survey (Table 1) taking into account the zone arrangement should be noted that over 32% of producers in selling their products buyers- and only one-fourth part can sell their products in the markets of the city and dictate the buyer 's price . Impossibility manufacturer to sell their products on favorable terms to them , due to a number of organizational problems , the solution of which requires investments .
Formation of the system of state support of small farms in the countryside - one of the key objectives of agricultural policy. From its effectiveness depends growth in food production , the level of employment in rural areas, to increase the revenue of the regional budget , as well as sustainable development of rural areas [2].
Management area should pay attention to the entities in the group average coefficient of merchantability from the position of subsidizing their activities, since they are the main suppliers of agricultural products not only the region but also are an important source of resource in addressing food security in the region in terms of Russia's entry into WTO.
